About Karin
Since childhood, creative work and crafting was my hobby and relaxing time. In 1994 we came in this Palatine region called, Musikantenland. A town named Altenglan-Patersbach was the place we decided to stay. We loved the gentle relaxing hilly region with lots of hiking and biking trails, seesaw tours, castle Lichtenberg, Remigiusberg and more attractions.
It all fit in our vision of country living.
The idea for the craft consignment shop developed, when I was no longer able to attend as many craft show as I wanted health wise. Many other crafter had the same problem, packing their work away for the rest of the year, until next time. Therefore way not putting the artists work into a shop? All year around on commission basis? So the idea became reality. March 2011 opened my little arts and craft consignments shop, called "Karin´s Countryhandarbeiten", (Karin´s Countryartandcrafts).
Anybody who does arts and crafts work, can display, make their own prices and sell their work.
Monthly we have new items and the acceptance is very well.
